Biography

It's quite difficult to describe one's self. I'm always changing and growing. My life has taken far more curves in the road than I would have ever guessed.

I'm a middle aged +++lady and am a Critical Care Nurse. I divorced after 26 years of marriage and I have 2 grown children, one Grandson, 2 beautiful Boykin Spaniels and one rescued blue eyed cat. We make a nice family.

I recently took a huge leap of faith and packed up and moved to a town just outside of Atlanta, GA from NY. Seems like a good thing for me. Why GA you may ask. Well, I have a friend from Nursing School who was transferred here in 2000 and after visiting her in 2007 I just felt strongly that I wanted to live there. So it took almost 4 years but I finally made the move.

Life is too short to be surrounded by negativity! So, I am trying to make my life positive and as calming as possible.

Knitting and almost anything to do with yarn and or fiber really calms me and makes me feel peaceful. My stash is far larger I will knit in this lifetime. But yarn addiction isn't the worst character flaw I could think of. Right?

Interests

Yarn, Kntting and more yarn! Reading is another passion although by the time I read the my Nursing Journals there is little time to read anthing else.
